Yavapai Humane Trappers began as an animal search and rescue organization.
That’s where our heart is. Katrina, our founder, began her mission assisting with the rescue of a single lost dog. Our team travels at a moment’s notice, in all kinds of weather conditions and at all hours, to help animals in Arizona. Animals that have no homes are brought into the YHT family and rescue partner systems for vetting and rehoming.

YHT's Foster Program is a win-win for everyone which allows pets to live in a home setting while they wait for adoption and offers the foster family a chance to help a dog or cat without a permanent commitment.
